Laundry at our house
Now that we have a clothes line, I have become so aware of what it must be like for David to be our only man in the house. This is a small shot of what our clothesline usually looks like - pink, flowers, dresses . . . oh my! Dave put up a clothes line about a month ago, and I am really loving it. It takes a few minutes to hang, but it's easy! It comes in smelling fresh and looking ironed. The only other time I have hung laundry on a line was on STINT in Russia, when our clothes line was hung down our hallway: the washing machine didn't ring very well, so when we were trying to dry our jeans, they were dripping. Ah, the memories! Thanks for my clothes line, Dave.
Here's an update on the pansies the girls planted with Grandma Sheehan. They look great! Since Grandma's visit, we have added some irises out back, too, along with tomato and cucumber plants. In the front, we added black-eyed susans (still waiting for those to flower), forget-me-nots, English primroses and Virginia blue bells. We're having a great time watching everything grow. So far we have only lost one cucumber plant :( - thanks to the harsh chemicals used for cleaning the back deck. Oh well.
