Anna Kate begins preschool tomorrow - Wednesday. She will be attending three mornings a week. This is the conversation at the table during our afternoon snack time today (Tuesday).
Anna Kate: "Lucy, guess what? Tomorrow I'm going to preschool!"
Lucy: "Aww. I miss you."
Anna Kate: "I know, it's kind of sad. I'll miss you, too. Daddy's going to take me."
Lucy: "Come back?"
Me: "Yes. Anna Kate will be back for lunch."
Lucy: "You miss Anna Kate?"
Me: "Yes, we'll all miss Anna Kate."
Lucy: "Kind of sad."
It will be an adjustment for everyone.
