We enjoyed a long weekend in El Paso. We participated in a fabulous missions weekend at a local church, and the girls had lots of cousin/aunts and uncles time! We couldn't get enough of "the cooler weather" - in the 60s and 70s! This car actually belongs to Hillery's neighbors, but Samantha quickly decided it was hers! She even climbed in and out of the window "Dukes of Hazards" style.
The girls love, love, love the swing set in Hillery's and Rick's backyard. By the end of the weekend, even Samantha was climbing up the ladder all by herself! Oh my!
Good thing there are 4 swings! We fill them up with girls, and, still, not everyone has a swing! It's so fun! (Aren't those mountains incredible? Oh, we miss them, too!)
Anna Kate and Emmy, who had a soccer game Saturday morning! We loved watching her play soccer! We don't have pictures from William's afternoon basketball game, which we also really loved watching!!
On Friday night, all the girls + Aunt Hillery stayed at Aunt Heather's house, without us. Decker and his girlfriend, Lucero, helped Aunt Hillery and Aunt Heather with the rucus. (Isn't she sweet and pretty?) And, just a note, William had a friend's birthday party that night. Sleeping? Aunt Heather and Anna Kate in her bed and Samantha in the pack-n-play in with them. Aunt Hillery and Emmy in Decker's bed, with Lucy and Madeline in the air mattress. Decker got the guest room all to himself!
Look at Samantha when we arrived back Saturday morning. Aunt Emilie was already there! Yay! And Samantha wanted a bow when Aunt Heather was doing Emmy and Anna Kate's hair. Of course, she also wanted her boots on with her jammies. And the microphone? Well, maybe there's a future American Idol star in there!
