But, on Friday winter returned with 12-15 inches snow. It's cold again. So, we made cookies. And we had to try them right away, too. Here's Dave starting to shovel after the storm stopped. He's clearing off the back deck . . .

David, remembering your single-minded quest (i.e.,obsession) to escape the cold/snow in Nebraska, you will have to get used to a certain amount of good-natured ribbing re: shoveling exploits & photos. Last question: Are you working on the porch in your workout shoes. Note: shoveling as workout shoes not = shoveling in workout shoes!

Enjoy the last gasp of winter. Here in Chefornak, after 3 weeks of only sunshine & starlight, we've had snow & wind all day today. It's been refreshing--we went from 15 below last night to 15 above right now. Granpa
